You can have more than one viewbar running. As far as I have noticed none of them have interfered with each other in anyway. I can have three going at one time and still have most of my screen open to surf with.
Keep in mind which ones pay you for doing other things besides surfing, don't waste your time by keeping the ones that only pay you to surf up when you are on IRC or ICQ for five hours!
Your best bet will always be your friends and family because they are probably the people you talk to the most. Most Companies have a link to the different types of letters you can send people but frankly, you know your nearest and dearest best so you may want to tailor make your own
ICQ is a great place to get referals especially if you have a large contact list. Remember don't SPAM people you don't know. If one of the people on your list seems interested, send them a new mail everytime you get a new viewbar.
IRC, the same thing as ICQ but this time put your refmaker (see below) or personal webpage URL and they can see the info for themselves on your page.
Most of these companies will give you a banner for your webpage. Evertime someone clicks the banner, you get a referal.
Use your newsgroup postings and emails to get people to see your pages where they can sign up under your name. Just use a signature file. Put the URL in the signature file and people can find your personal or Refmaker page from there. Remember the SPAM rule however. |

There are many hack programs out there designed to stimulate keyboard and mouse movements to cheat the viewbars. I don't use them for a few reasons. Firstly, companies are getting wise to this and can figure out if you use them. Secondly, the viewbars aren't annoying, so why bother. Thirdly, because I spend so much time online anyways, I almost always make my maximum hours, so I am not too worried about it. |
